Afib Triggers

Afib Triggers

You MAY be able to reduce or stop your Afib episodes if you watch for possible TRIGGERS.

My main trigger turned out to be High Fructose Corn Syrup.  I noticed that almost any exposure to this sweetener would usually bring on a bout of Afib.  I also learned that it is in almost everything, anything that is very sweet and not natural such as most fast food and junk food.   The stuff is super sweet and very CHEAP so it has replaced good old cane sugar almost completely.  Your main defense is to read the label!  I have not had an Afib flare up since I cut out the high fructose corn syrup.  What’s your trigger?

This episode of our buddy Dr. Afib runs down a host of triggers you may not have thought of.
